HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELISSA CROWLEY!!! Wouldn’t reveal her age.
MITCH subbing for Gary, did a joke and it was well received, unlike Gary’s.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
• We will gather July 1 at Rhiel Supply to decorate the float at 6 PM at Rhiel Supply
building (off Mahoning), and July 4 at 11:30 in parking lot of Highway Tabernacle
at to help arrange parts of the parade, which steps off at 2 p.m.
We need all the help we can get. This year in addition to candy, we will hand out
frisbees to the kids at the end of the parade when we all run out of candy.
• Canfield Rotary will have their fireworks at the Fairgrounds on July 2.
• Bike nite was cancelled due to the weather on the 15th. Another is scheduled for
July 7th. We have 4 of these to go.
• Canfield Club is looking for golfers for the July 13 outing. Contact Susan for info or
check their website.
• Susan thanked Brian and Shanna for the wonderful party they chaired for her
President’s Roast.
PERFECT ATTENDANCE Awards were given to: Dr. Mitch Dalvin, Mark Cole, Jerry Haber,
Deanna Spirko, Susan Leetch, Chuck Baker and Brian Laraway.
SONGLEADER: Deanna led us in singing “In the Good Old Summertime” in honor of the
first day of summer on the 21st.
NO joke for today, just our singing.
FELLOWSHIP: Jennifer Connolly did a great job for the club and fined everyone not at the President’s Roast or do anything to help with the banquet.
DRAWING: Carol won the little one but lost the biggie.
Toby left us with this quote from John Hancock and the reason he wrote his name
so large. “There I guess King George will be able to read that.” We must remember that traitors or those considered traitors were hunted and killed. Brave man, that Hancock.
