PROGRAM:

David Buttar introduced Angela Foor who has been with the March of Dimes for 7 years.  The March for Babies Event is scheduled here at the Austintown Park on Kirk Road. The date is set for May 17, 2009 with Registration Time at Noon and Starting time at 1 P.M.

This is sponsored by the Northeast Ohio Division of March of Dimes. March for Babies takes place in more than 900 communities across the country. You'll be joining 1 million people walking with their families or co-workers. Expect to run into some old friends and make new ones.

It's America's favorite walking event! When you walk, you give hope to the families of babies born too soon or sick. The money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it funds research to find answers to the serious problems that threaten our babies. We've been walking since 1970 and have raised an incredible $1.8 billion to benefit all babies.

The March of Dimes uses 77 cents of every dollar you raise in March for Babies to support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And your funds are used to bring comfort and information to families whose baby was born too soon, or sick.

If you're interested in joining a team, please contact Angela at 330-240-5501 or e-mail her at afoor1@neo.rr.com.  Take part and enjoy the food, activities, T-shirts and just fun and recognition for the March of Dimes.
