PRESIDENT Michael opened his second meeting of the year and called on Dr. Mitch Dalvin to lead us in the Invocation, Pledge and singing of "God Bless America". Guests were : Jim Blomstrom from Youngstown, Major James Foley, our Guest Speaker, and Terry Reardon from Canfield.
Tony Cebriak led us in singing "I've been working on the railroad" at the fastest speed I ever heard us sing. I think he wanted to just "get it over with".
Ivan Musgrove gave us an update on his son. After falling 25 feet and landing on his head, he is doing fantastic!! There are no obvious side effects and, in fact, he may be more hyper than he was before. He is still wearing a helmet to protect his head.
Chuck Baker was called upon to do the induction of new member Leanna Mathes. Leanna is an Insurance Agent with American National located at 25 Idlewood Road here in Austintown. Please be sure to give Leanna a very warm welcome.

Woodside Elementary is getting a new Principal so the project that Dr. Mike was working on with us is put on hold for now.
November 29th is designated as the date for our bell ringing for the Salvation Army at Santisi's. A sign up sheet will be passed out closer to the date.
Ambassador Scholarship is available from Rotary Foundation. This is the world's largest privately funded scholarship. Each year $24,000 is given to the winner.
Dr. Mike wants to adapt the coin boxes for Rotary that the Washington Club is doing. Just drop your extra change into a box for your Club.
Cocktail Club Social will be next Thursday, July 24th from 7-9 P.M. at Quaker Steak and Lube - just to hang out and have a little fun.
