Terry Shifflet from Eastern Gateway Community College was a recent guest at the meeting of Austintown Rotary.Eastern Gateway is a fully accredited two-year associate degree college that enables students to obtain a degree in over 60 majors that will transfer or qualify for the job market as well as certificate programs. The courses they offer are an affordable option for students seeking to transfer and apply their credits to four-year degree programs at other colleges and universities at a much lower cost to the student.As a community college the tuition and fees are comparably lower than the cost of four-year universities and colleges, private institutions, and for-profit colleges. ROTARY MINUTE: Chuck Baker - on Meth addiction. A rotarian in New Mexico is trying to educate people about it. They start children on it by lacing it in candy to hook the kids early.
FELLOWSHIP: Chuck Baker got Ram for being the last in and a lot of others for no pin AND badge.
